Gran Turismo 4 is a 2004 racing game developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Computer Entertainment.
Summary
Featuring over 700 cars from 80 manufacturers and more than 50 tracks, Gran Turismo 4 was one of the vastest racing games of its time, featuring depictions of vehicles first produced as far back as 1886. It is the second best-selling game in the series behind Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec, selling a total of 11.73 million copies.
Gameplay
Taking more of an arcade approach, Gran Turismo 4's aim was to cater to the obsessive car fanatics whilst also being accessible to fans of quick races and a less strict racing experience. Cars are driven from numerous third-person camera views that can be quickly cycled through according to player preference.
